Over 2013 Summer, Sustainable Everyday will be hosting a series of workshops on wellbeing in our everyday life. We see this as a great way to come together as a community to share ways in which we can live in a healthy and sustainable way.
January 7th Monday 10am - 2pm: "Bushwalking along the Yarra River". This walk will involve enjoying nature, sharing knowledge about our local eco-system, sharing a picnic and a group meditation session.Cost: by donation Please bring vegetarian plate to share. January 12th Saturday 10.30am - 2pm: "The Art of Community Gardening" at Herbert Street, Northcote. This workshop is about gardening, sharing knowledge on gardening, how to set up your own community garden and meeting people who love community gardening.
10.30am morning tea and meet up!
11am Workshop and advice on setting up a community garden. Tips include: engaging community, creative design ideas, working with local council and ongoing maintenance.
12pm Working bee at Our Apple Tree Herbert Street! Putting some creative design ideas into action.
1pm Yummy vegetarian lunch.
